WA adopted the Adjuster Continuing Education Requirements rule (R2021-03) on September 28, 2021. The rule takes effect on July 15, 2022. SHB 1037, which was signed in 2021, requires resident adjusters to meet certain continuing education (CE) requirements. The commissioner has adopted rules to clarify those requirements for independent adjusters and public adjusters. The intent is to match the NAIC standard of 24 CE hours, including three hours of ethics every two years.
