As of July 14, 2010, the following CE requirements will go into effect for resident adjusters:
- All Resident Adjusters will now be required to complete (2) hours of Legislative Update, during each biennial renewal period.
- The (2) hour Legislative Update is included in the (24) twenty-four biennial requirement.
Resident adjusters whose license expires as of July, August or September 2010, will have the ability to renew their license prior to the effective date of the new requirement as long as they meet all current CE requirements. Please note: Your license expiration date will not be affected.
License Renewal Extensions: In order to assist resident adjusters whose license renews in the month of July, August or September 2010, with an easier transition into the new CE requirement, Oklahoma is implementing the following renewal deadline extension process:
- All resident adjusters subject to the new CE requirements with a renewal date set for July 31, 2010, will have until September 30, 2010, to obtain the required hours and renew their licenses before being considered “late.” All resident adjusters who wish to utilize the extension must possess at least 22 hours of continuing education by July 31, 2010, in order to qualify.
- All resident adjusters subject to the new CE requirements with a renewal date set for August 30, 2010, will have until October 31, 2010, to obtain the required hours and renew their licenses before being considered “late.” All adjusters who wish to utilize the extension must possess at least 22 hours of continuing education by August 30, 2010, in order to qualify.
- All resident adjusters subject to the new CE requirements with a renewal date set for September 30, 2010, will have until October 31, 2010, to obtain the required hours and renew their licenses before being considered “late.” All producers who wish to utilize the extension must possess at least 22 hours of continuing education by September 30, 2010, in order to qualify.
