OK Eliminates the 6-hour Workers Compensation Act CE Requirement
Effective November 1, 2012, the training mandate that required all adjusters that adjudicate Workers’ Compensation claims in the State of Oklahoma to complete 6 hours of Oklahoma specific continuing education will be eliminated (Amends 36 O.S. 2011, §6217).

New Adjuster Legislation for Washington State
Washington State has adjuster legislation which has been recently signed by the Governor. This legislation, which will become effective June 7, 2012, allows adjusters to designate a home state and eliminates the submission of fingerprints for non-resident adjusters.
