Effective June 1, 2015, the WV Office of the Insurance Commissioner will require all individuals applying for an initial resident insurance license or those adding a line of authority to be fingerprinted. Fingerprint will be required for the following lines of authority:
- Life
- Accident & Sickness
- Property & Casualty
- Personal Lines
- Surplus Lines
- Viatical Settlement Brokers
- Travel Insurance Entity Producer
Fingerprints will NOT be required for the following lines of authority:
- Limited Lines
- Adjusters
- Nonresident Licensees
